Creative Director and co-founder of The Union, Edinburgh, which has become one of the largest and most successful advertising agencies outside of London.

and PICTURES by Jane Scott

Jane has an MA in Graphic Design and Information from The Royal College of Art in London. She started work as a designer for Pan Books and Cassell & Co. During this time she travelled around Africa providing design solutions for World Bank clean water projects. She subsequently joined the Conran Design Group, then Minale Tattersfield, where she worked on well known brands such as Harrods, Regents Park Zoo, The Design Council and Nat West Bank. After moving to Scotland Jane worked as Senior Lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art, Duncan of Jordanstone School of Art, Dundee and Glasgow School of Art (where she was offered the position of Head of Graphic Design - which she declined).
